WEBINAR DETAILS
The Community
Reinvestment Act (CRA) was enacted to encourage banks to help “meet the credit
needs of their local communities, including low- and moderate-income (LMI)
neighborhoods, in a safe and sound manner.” The regulatory agencies take your
CRA exam results into account when considering certain applications, such as
deciding whether to approve an application for a new deposit facility or to
merge or acquire another institution. In
this session we will review the CRA rules and provide best practices for how
you can prepare your CRA program to meet regulatory expectations.
We
will dive into the exam procedures for small, intermediate, and large
institutions and compare the expectations for each under the various
performance tests. We will detail the contents of a compliant public file as
well as the data collection and reporting requirements under the Act. Helpful
tools and best practices will be provided to enhance your policies, procedures,
and practices, and to prepare you for your next exam. Join us for this
jam-packed session!
