WEBINAR DETAILS
The Community Reinvestment
Act (CRA) was enacted to encourage banks to help “meet the credit needs of
their local communities, including low- and moderate-income (LMI)
neighborhoods, in a safe and sound manner.” The regulatory agencies take your
CRA exam results into account when considering certain applications, such as
deciding whether to approve an application for a new deposit facility or to
merge or acquire another institution. This
program will explore the exam procedures for small, intermediate, and large
institutions and compare the expectations for each under the various
performance tests. It will detail the contents of a compliant public file, as
well as the data collection and reporting requirements. Helpful tools and best
practices will be provided to enhance your policies, procedures, and practices,
and prepare you for your next exam.
