WEBINAR DETAILS
As a highly regulated
industry, it is critical to understand the regulatory agencies’ expectations.
These expectations are often influenced by economic factors. With the recent
rise in interest rates and potential for challenges with CRE borrowers, it is
more important than ever to be in sync with your regulators. Irrespective of
the economy it is important to understand their general expectations for
effective credit underwriting and management.
The FDIC updated the
Loans section of their exam manual in mid-2023, and updated the Asset Quality
section in January 2024. This program will highlight the changes and what they
mean for you. In addition, this webinar will address regulators’ expectations
for 2024. What are they most concerned about? What are their expectations for
effective credit management?
Join us to get suggestions on how to practically
meet regulatory expectations and how to effectively communicate with your
regulators, including how to constructively discuss any criticisms or
disagreements. (This webinar will be focused on credit risk and credit
management and not on compliance.)
