Robert L. Viering

Robert Viering is the principal of RiverPointUSA LLC, a national consulting and training firm helping community banks and credit unions strengthen credit risk management, strategic planning, and sustainable growth. With over 40 years in commercial banking, he brings deep expertise in C&I, CRE, and agricultural lending, as well as stress testing, CECL, and capital planning. Bob has served as de novo bank founder, CEO, Chief Lending Officer, regional credit officer, audit committee member, and board member, and has been an expert witness in state and federal courts. He is also a founder of RegVizion LLC, developing AI-driven credit tools, and actively serves on the Chicago chapter board of ProSight (formerly RMA) and is a member of their national Advisory Group.
