On August 31, 2018, the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection released a new 31-page rule for HMDA reporting that allows partial exemptions for certain data fields. This session will include an overview of the rule and Executive Summary. These changes and other provisions were authorized under the May 24, 2018, Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act.
