Conducting the Annual Physical Security Review

Conducting the annual physical security review is more than completing a checklist. The reviewer must be able to identify foreseeable events and take reasonable action to correct them. This program has been designed specifically for staff who have direct responsibility for physical security. Participants will learn about best practices in the three areas that are most likely to be the subject of litigation: landscaping, lighting, and visibility.

Although there are hundreds of ways to make critical security mistakes, there’s very little time to deal with the aftermath. This program will provide a blueprint to help you work smarter – not harder – to protect your financial institution. Problems regarding training, landscaping, lighting, and marketing that can sabotage a well-run financial institution will be covered. It will include tips on how to set up camera locations and receive training to protect staff and customers alike. Mistakes with physical security can make your institution a target for robberies, muggings, and lawsuits from the public and staff. This webinar is based on actual findings during security audits and physical security reviews.

If you have never conducted a physical risk assessment, this is the program for you. It is also an outstanding refresher course for risk assessment veterans. Join us to get the facts on how to prepare, review, document, and use the information from an assessment.
